It is meant to eliminate redundant spreadsheets that most companies maintain such as lap dip tracking, sample tracking, costing, and RFQ's. Once an entity is initiated in Request Tracker, you can track multiple requests and submits against it. The application is great for vendor collaboration as you are able to secure it at the field level so that vendors only see what you need them to see.
